List of employees with duplicate payroll records

This app looks through the open 5-2-2 payroll records and provides a list of all employees that have more than one open payroll record.

Steps:

  1. Open the 5-2-2 Payroll Records screen.
  2. Click on the zMaxOneClick app and choose Duplicate Payroll Records App.
  3. The preview grid will appear with a list that includes the Payroll Record Numbers, Employee Number, Employee Name and Hire Date.
  4. Delete any duplicate payroll records as necessary and proceed with computing payroll.

Output:

Story:

Joe Contractor would like a quick way to see if he has entered more than one payroll record for an employee during one payroll period. Sometimes when he or his payroll clerk are pulled away to another task during payroll entry, so sometimes a duplicate payroll record is accidentally entered. This App ensures that employees are not overpaid or a duplicate record is not processed.

Process:

This app looks through the status 1-Open 5-2-2 payroll records and provides a list of all employees that have more than one open payroll record.

Return on Investment:

Joe can see duplicate payroll entries at the click of the zMaxOneClick app. He no longer has to go through each record one by one. This saves him at least one hour each week.
