Manager Update

Updates client contact in multiple screens

This app updates the Property Manager Contact information on all 11-2 Work Orders and 3-5 Jobs linked to a 3-6 Receivable Client.

Setup:

Steps:

  1. Open the 3-6 Receivable Clients screen to the appropriate record.
  2. Enter updated contact information on row 1 of the contact grid and make sure the job title is 'Property Manager'.
  3. Save and Recall the record.
  4. Click the zMaxOneClick app and choose Manager Update.
  5. A confirmation screen will appear, click Yes.
  6. A confirmation screen will appear once the update is complete and will ask if you want to view the audit log. If you would like to, click Yes.

Output:

    Audit Log: Microsoft NotepadĀ® document (Default location is \MB7\[Company Name]\Zoom Reports)
  1. Details on Audit Log include: User that performed the update, the computer the update was completed on, the Client #, the new client contact information, the 3-5 Job and 11-2 Work Order record numbers that were updated with the old data that was updated.

Story:

Joe Contractor enters contact information into the 3-6 Client screen and then enters it in the 3-5 Jobs and 11-2 Work Order screens associated with the client. The contact information changes frequently, which means Joe then has to update the 3-6 Client screen and has to find all the 3-5 and 11-2 screens associated with the client to update as well. He sometimes spends 30 minutes doing these updates.

This app updates the Property Manager Contact information on all 11-2 Work Orders and 3-5 Jobs linked to a 3-6 Receivable Client.

Now, Joe can update the contact information in the 3-6 screen and all the associated screens in less than a minute with a click of the zMaxOneClick app.
