Invoice number based on service invoice type

This app creates an invoice number in the 11-2 Work Orders screen based off of the current year and the service invoice type.

Setup:

Steps:

  1. Open the 11-2 Work Orders screen.
  2. Make sure that a service invoice type is chosen.
  3. Click on the zMaxOneClick app and choose Create Invoice #.
  4. Save the record.

Story:

Joe Contractor's company wants the invoice number to include the current year and 11-2 Service invoice type. This number has meaning to them and allows them consistency within their process as they are going forward with the new system. The numbers are not always correct when input manually.

Process:

This app creates an invoice number in the 11-2 Work Orders screen based off of the current year and the service invoice type.

Return on Investment:

The staff does not have to worry about what invoice number they are entering. It is filled in with the click of a app.
