Story:
Tommy Technician uses a 3rd party vendor to see his work orders on his tablet. The program uses the Sage 100C API to do this. When the office copies text from an email to the 11-2 work order, invalid characters are sometimes copied over and the Sage 100C API does not recognize them. If invalid text is in the work order, the work order will not show on Tommy's tablet and he will miss the appointment.
Process:
This app removes any copied and pasted invalid ASCII characters from the 11-2 Work Order notes, shop notes, and the shop notes and owner notes on the service invoice lines and replaces them with valid characters.
Return on Investment:
The app strips the invalid characters from the work order without having a person spend time identifying them.
